I consider this blog to be a place where I can archive whatever is inspiring me at the moment. A feather, a jacket, a bible verse... anything goes really. Today this post from one of my favorite blogs is what's inspiring me. Simply put, I think seeing people who are truly in love and just really enjoy each others company is one of the coolest things. My dad once told me that his favorite part of the day is when he and my mom lie in bed at the end of the day and talk about their days. I love that.
P.S. On a scale of one to Nicholas Sparks how cheesy is this post? Nicholas Sparks for sure.
Anyways, enjoy these lovely words and pictures from Andrew and Carissa.
"Sometimes I'll run into a store while Andrew parks, and then he'll meet me inside. So I'll be walking around, engrossed in which avocado is the perfect degree of ripeness. Then, I turn a corner, and see someone. And for a split second I have this familiar, but old, feeling of excitement and attraction- that feeling I used to get when we'd meet eyes across the room. We refer to it as the party in our stomachs. It comes upon me like I don't even know the man who has held my heart for the past 5 years. But when I realize that indeed it is he, the feeling is enhanced with this deep, true feeling of love and gratefulness."
"Today we celebrate 3 years of marriage.... It's only getting better."
