Style Icon: Bill Cosby

You think I'm kidding and I am...sort of.

WOW, check out that frown.

My senior year of high school I was (and still am) good friends with this girl who had a bleach blond pixie cut, slam dunk taste in music, and was 100% cooler than I could ever hope to be. In addition to all this, she had excellent style. If she liked something, she would wear it. Simple as that. She didn't wonder what other people would think about it or question whether it was "in style" or not, she liked it and that was all that mattered. This is in fact the mindset that those with the best style usually possess. It's not really something that they think about, it's just who they are. It's a matter of just wearing what they like and that's exactly what she did. So one day she shows up to school in this baggy sweater with the craziest pattern/color palette. It looked like the sort of thing my dad wore in the 80's but she was ROCKIN' it. The fact that it wasn't necessarily "cool" made it ten times cooler. "You're sweater is awesome," I told her. "Thanks, it's my Cosby sweater," she replied. Not long after that I snagged my own Cosby sweater at the Salvation Army. It looks like Picasso collaborated with Bill Cosby on a sweater and it's truly a masterpiece. That's when my love affair with weird/eccentric sweaters began. The weirder the better. Now that the weather is getting cooler you better believe I'm on the lookout for more to add to my collection.

Here's my shopping dreaming list...
