I've been punk'd

I've always considered "the first apartment" to be the great equalizer among us design obsessed women. No matter how perfect that house in Architectural Digest may look you always know that person started out in a crumby apartment on their grandmas sofa trying to pass off a piece of plywood being supported by cinder blocks as a coffee table. Those are the roots from which we all start and eventually bloom into a Saarinen Tulip table (if you're so lucky). Well, I always thought that was the case...until I stumbled upon this 25 year olds FIRST (yes, first) big girl apartment located in Brooklyn where she moved to work for J. Crew and Madewell. Is this some kind of joke? Because I'm not laughing. This girl has hijacked my dream job (and coffee table) and is riding off in the sunset while I wipe the dust off my dumpster dive sofa. Source.
