dead sea scrolls

So let's be honest, these jeans weren't exactly designed with my body type in mind. Clearly these jeans belong on a girl about five inches taller but when I saw these on sale at Gap I went into denial and forgot every petite dressing tip I've ever heard. Sometimes you just gotta break the rules because *what's livin' if you never pull your shorts down and slide on the ice?

I wore this to go see the Dead Sea Scrolls and if you live in the DFW area and haven't seen them why the heck not?!? To see fragments of the oldest copy of the Bible in existence is truly a mind blowing and once in a life time opportunity. I think I could have stood there for hours just trying to wrap my mind around what was in front of me. It was very spiritually overwhelming and I highly recommend going to see them if you can.

P.S. I scrunched my hair with this recipe for sea salt spray I saw on the Free People blog and really liked the results. My hair is super fine and flat but this gave it a little bit of texture.

*I wish I could take credit for this line but I must give all the glory to the genius Louis Stevens. Marry me.
