The whimsical April catalog for Free People. Can you believe this is from a catalog?! I love when editorials use children because it brings something more down to earth and lighthearted to the table that fashion could use more of. The kids were perfect for the free spirited and innocent nature of the clothes.
P.S. Remember when Vogue shot Kate Hudson with her son Ryder? I wish I could recall information for tests like I do Vogue spreads.

Oh you know just casually wearing a sweatshirt and leaning against an old car while wearing a Maison Marigela crystal encrusted mask. Love that contrast. Unfortunately, this is the only picture I could find from this editorial so if anyone knows the source let me know! I would love to see the rest. Also, does anyone get sort of a Richard Prince vibe from this picture? Maybe it's the old cars...or because it's just brilliant.

My friend Lindsey Gallagher created a few looks for the student design section of Northwest Arkansas Fashion Week and did a wonderful job! Sewing isn't a joke you guys and I know she spent many a weekend locked up in her apartment slaving over this so I'll give this girl all the publicity I can.
